1. Races will be "All Run". Order of pairings will be determined by random drawing prior to each round of eliminations. Lane choice and any bye runs will be determined by the order of the drawing. (Example - 1st name drawn is left lane, second name is right lane and so on.  Any bye runs will be awarded on last name drawn. Only one bye run by drawing is allowed per racer at the event.  Should a racer fail to make the call to the lanes, his opponent will be awarded a competition bye. When called to the lanes, please be prompt. Late arrivals may be disqualified.
2. All runs will be on a .400 Pro Tree.
3. Rules inspections will be conducted randomly and with no prior notice at the discretion of the Competition Director.
4. All winners during eliminations must stop at scales immediately after the run. Round losers should also stop at scales to verify that the round winners weight is legal.  Failure to do so will eliminate your possibility to advance to the next round if your opponent is found to be under weight .
5. Cheating will NOT be tolerated. Anyone caught cheating or violating the rules will be disqualified from the event, forfeit any points/money earned at that event and lose all racing privileges with any TPSA sponsored event for one year.
6. WE DO THIS FOR FUN! Sportsmanlike conduct is required at all times. Anyone who displays any unsportsmanlike behavior will lose membership privileges until they can learn to have fun again.
7. PROTESTS: Participants/racers who wish to file a protest concerning a rules violation against another racer's/participant's car, must do so with the Competiton Director prior to the second round of quailifing/time trials before eliminations. This protest must be filed by the driver of a car entered in the event. Additionally, a protest fee of $500.00 must be submitted along with your protest to the Competition Director. This fee of $500.00 will be forfeited to the protested participant if the protested car is found to be within the rules,or refunded if the protest is found to be valid. Protests which appear to be malicious or spiteful may be overidden at the Competition Directors discretion.
8. Competition Director has the FINAL decision on any and all rules questions and or any rules violations.

These are the race procedures of the Texas Pro Stock Association and must be followed to participate in our class at race events... However, first and foremost each car and driver will be subject to a NHRA or IHRA technical safety inspection which will be performed by the race track's personnel. Texas Pro Stock has absolutely no control or influence over this inspection, and you may be disqualified from participation for non compliance or infractions found during this inspection by the race tracks officials !

The Texas Pro Stock Association reserves the right to revise, modify or make additions as it deems necessary to these procedures. Any revisions will be noticed on the message board no later than 72 hours prior to a race date. It is each racers responsibilty to monitor the "Race Procedures and Rules" pages on TPSA's website for changes.
